SPRINGBOARD 2024 🎉

SPRINGBOARD 2024 🎉

August 5th to 9th

Viljandi Vocational Education Centre

Springboard is a five-day summer school for teenagers aged 14-19, where they can develop an idea into the first prototype with the help of a team and experienced mentors. Jump into the adventure and unleash your creativity!

What does Hüppelaud look like?

Hüppelaud brings together 70 young people from across Estonia for five days to build the first prototypes from basic ideas in a startup-like environment.

On the first day, there will be an idea collection, team formation, mentor introductions and selection, and the building begins.

Every day will feature workshops and talks from experts in various fields who will share essential skills and lessons on coding, designing, marketing, product development, and entrepreneurship. Alongside this, intense building will happen with the support of mentors.

At the end of the final day, there will be a grand showcase where each team can present their products and see what others have accomplished over the past week.

Hüppelaud has been an exciting summer school for young people since 2017, made possible by amazing mentors and the companies backing them.

For many years, Mikk Olli, Alvar Lumberg, Sander Tammer, and Kaarel Reinvars have shared their time and expertise. This year, we thank the Estonian team of Nucleate, who are joining us as mentors.

Throughout the years, Hüppelaud has been financially supported by Wise, Startup Estonia, and the Estonian Research Council. Companies also support us by sending their employees as mentors, including Starship.

This year, Kuku Ruku is also supporting us with their breakfast cookies.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped with advice and action!
